Hi all,

Recently i grew some "roadside" morning glory (simple purple ones)..

Now, am wondering if morning glory are friends with ants?
Do they co-exist?
i have ants throwing parties day and night on the plant..and i am worried that the ants will bring along other nasty friends to my other plants...
Is there a solution?
i have offered the ants some "party food" (ant bait..kekeke)...but seems like they keep coming back leh...

Are all types of morning glories like that?

Thanks in advance for any help!
Ginko

Check the vine and look for aphids, as these aphids secrete honeydew on the vine. This secretion is very sweet that attracts the ants, as they love and eat. One you get rid of the aphids from your vine, the ants will disappear.
