Hello

I suddenly am not allowed to upload photos on photobucket. OK, admittedly, I removed and then reinstalled google chrome 2 weeks ago, but that shouldn't affect it?

What i see is that the green upload now sign in the middle of the page where I click to upload photos is gone and there's no way to bring it back.

So I can only view past uploaded photos but not upload new ones...
Would anyone know what I need to do to get it back to normal please?
thanks very much
bh

I you are using IE8, try setting compatibility view on the site. Menu Page> Compatibility View (or set it permanent in the compat view setting).

Hi, i experienced a similar problem, which is that the whole page loads except for the green upload now sign which does not appear, which means that i cant upload new photos as i cant click on the sign. Any idea why?

Thanks for your help and suggestion, Spheredom... I'm really lousy at computer lingo and computer stuff... I don't know what version anything is... I tried looking at 'Properties' and add-remove programmes, etc... But I still don't know. I went to internet options and the Compatibility button there, and clicked something, which made googlechrome have more problems...

I wrote to photobucket people and this is what they replied - it's a SingNet problem it seems:
"
Thanks for contacting us! We're sorry to hear about your uploading issues. We've pinpointed the issue to users who are in Singapore. It seems like there is a problem with the the SingNet ISP provider there. We believe this is the issue because we had one user who could test the site off the Singnet ISP and they did have the upload button. But when they went back to SingNet the button was missing.

We're wondering if you are still not seeing the button. If you still cannot see the "Select photos and videos" button, we need you to contact the SingNet support team letting them know this. We have contacted them and are waiting to hear back from them. We think that if you email them also, maybe they will act faster to help us because you are their customer."

So maybe you can email SingNet, if you know what to tell them... I don't understand enough about the computer to explain things to them properly I think. Hope this helps somewhat..

- To know the Internet explorer version. Help menu (or question ? icon)> About IE.

- I will not be able to access PB if I am on non compatibility mode. Will hang for a long time. I am using Singnet.

- Occassionally, PB won't load, so I ended up using proxy.singnet.com.sg port 8080. Tools> Option> Connection> Lan Setting> tick proxy. But remember to undo as it will be slower.

I couldn't find the About IE even though I went to the ?Help at "Start" button. I went to look at all the Internet Explorer information in Troubleshooting, but they didn't say about versions....

I give up already...
Haiya

Sometime then uploading drive me Kuku, pb inform us no limit now for storage, but just impossible, always stated "Javascrip void (1) " and I have not do anything to my PC, either at work or home, sometime work, sometime don't work, the worst is selected all the photos and take so long to wait for it to complete and it show you " 0 photos uploaded and show you "upload completed"!! CRAZY!!!

So nowaday this forum more quiet as most of us work on FB as upload is so much faster and easy! of course there are not only plants lover.

I too find the process of uploading to Photobucket has become so tedious.

Needs alot of patience with technology!

I do not face problem with photobucket that much after I paid for the account.

Your link must be able to view via a browser. Just to be sure that you are getting the correct link, PB image is http:.../xxx.jpg (nothing else).

And instead of using icon to insert image, you can manually tag http://xxxxxx/xxx.jpg . Then do a preview.

Hi

This is the picture I am trying to post to ask some questions and having been trying for the last few days. Below is what I get to paste but will not display. Tried the first time to post a picture of my plant in GSC forum and could do so without any hitch. Followed the same pattern but turn out with this.

Sorry, for the confusion! So silly of me to think it will not display.I tried to do so in email but could not open. I was so sure it will not open just by looking at the link...
Looks like I got it all wrong...or maybe I followed the instruction of the Photobucket support to clear cache and cookies before re starting again.
Everything is fine now...since I am comunication with you do you know anything about sweet potatoes?
I grew mine and ate it yesterday...find the inside not so intense or compact as Jap version. Harvested after about 5 mths...should I have left it longer.?
