For white oil I use them in isolation via a portable spray to the affected area. For the food crop in my garden I avoid mass pesticide application just to be safe since I'm the one eating an cooking with them.

Great job, double ensurance that the pests are dead.

But for my case, the papaya tress are too tall for my to spray the white oil onto the leaves.
By the way is the white oil 'Safe' to spray onto the papaya fruits ????

Thanks.

Great harvest, you can set up a store outside your house.

They are still green! You wrap them in newspaper? I pluck mine when they are 70-80% ripe on tree and then wrap in papers for couple of days.

I see. My only tree is not flowering profusely at the top like it did, I think it is coming to the end of the fruiting cycle. Not sure about this anyway.

If it is not fruiting at the top anymore, I will chop it down to about a foot from the ground and let new shoots grow from the cut stem. It is a faster way to regrow paper trees. Most of the time you get more shoots but I intend to limit it to 2 trees. I will have 2 instand proven paper trees! ;)/>

I read your previous posts and u mentioned "3rd round of fruiting". Do u mean It will stop fruiting for awhile and re-start? My tree may come to this stage! My tree is about 2.5m tall, how tall are your trees?

Its been fruiting all this while. Juz that the harvest of fruits varies in the quantity and size.

My trees would be around that height too and if its grows too tall it will be difficult to harvest the fruits.

cheers

Lets see how this batch turns out. I planted the same seeds before but did not produce fruit due to mainly male plants!! Also not sure if the seeds are from F1 papaya. I can SASE you some seeds if they are proven this time round.

Wow! Many trees many fruits! My lone papaya tree is coming to the end of the fruiting life. It is 3 meters tall with 4-5 fruits sparsely hanging on the tree! Started new batch with about 5 small trees.

I'm a papaya lover, thought of planting a papaya tree, but i have some limitations i hope you could help.

1. I'm in HDB, meaning i have to plant papaya in a pot. Are Hawaiian papayas compact enough to be grown in a big pot?
2. Are Hawaiian papayas hermaphrodites? Otherwise, what is the best way to ensure I get a hermaphrodite plant? I only have space to grow one, so it has got to be correct!

thanks and cheers!
