Basically marimo can grow nice if you can provided light and the appropriate water flow for them... of course do not forget algee also need some nutrient from the water... but not too much...
if you cant provided all condition for them , they still wont die easily ... it just maintain the same size ... this is what i experience....
whoever interest do aquascaping for the fish tank... marimo can be a good choice as well

Aaah! I finally found what they are called.
I saw them in a Japanese department store but they come with live prawns.
I wanna get some of these, I shall check at Takashimaya and see if they have stock XD

Um, why don't you guys go to Polyart opposite Clementi MRT (fish shop). They sell each medium-sized ball for only $3. A shop in Toa Payoh (around 15 mins from Toa Payoh Central) sells each for $2. My dad has been buying so many every week.
